ILLEGAL BIKES!

🚨 Illegal E-Bikes and Off-Road Bikes Causing Nuisance in Fleetwood 🚨

Your local policing team has received reports of illegal e-bikes, Surron bikes and other off-road motorcycles being ridden at high speeds in the areas of Jameson Rd and the Fleetwood Marsh Nature Reserve.

These vehicles are causing significant nuisance and concern for local residents, pedestrians and visitors. The manner in which some of these bikes are being ridden not only causes disruption but can also pose a serious risk to public safety.

👮‍♂️ We want to reassure the community that your local police are proactively targeting illegal bike use and is committed to removing these vehicles from our streets and public spaces wherever possible.

The support of our local community is vital in helping us identify offenders and take positive action. If you witness illegal bikes being used, particularly where there is an immediate risk to the public, please report it.

📞 If the nuisance is happening at the time, call 999 and provide as much information as possible, including: • Location • Direction of travel • Description of the rider(s) • Description of the bike(s)

🚔 If patrols are available, whether from Response, Neighbourhood Policing or Specialist Tactical Operations, officers will attend and make every effort to safely locate and seize illegal vehicles where appropriate.
